I came to Susan after I injured my shoulder at work. I was in extreme pain and had never tried acupuncture before, but was willing to try. I was a bit nervous at first, but Susan took the time to explain the entire process to me, which was very calming. During our appointments, we discuss the sensations I feel and Susan uses my feedback to target the specific pain I am feeling that day. The only time I am completely pain free from my injury is when I have had treatment with Susan. Acupuncture has helped me heal faster, but also to find relief from pain during the healing process. Susan has been excellent in addressing my needs as a patient with chronic low back pain. The acupuncture treatments have been so helpful and I now have only slight discomfort on rare occasion. My days are now mostly pain-free. Also, I have been able to significantly reduce the amount of pain medications that I had to take in the past. I only need to return now once a month for maintenance to keep me pain-free and mostly drug-free. Now she is assisting me with my pregnancy! All in all, very knowledgeable and skillful.
