When I first came to see Susan, I had been suffering from intense migraines on an almost daily basis for 6 months. Neurologists and doctors could not find anything wrong, and my incapacitating pain continued to dominate my life. After my first treatment with Susan, I left headache-free for the first time in months! I also felt relaxed and like my life had been given back to me. I am deeply grateful to Susan and her skill. She has dramatically improved my life. Don’t hesitate to see Susan Buhler, LAc, she is amazing.

Susan has helped me in so many ways. I came to her completely defeated due to a recent autoimmune diagnosis. Not only did she take the time to listen to my concerns, and... quite honestly complain about my situation she did so very intently. I felt heard! I’ve been to many acupuncturists and sometimes the experience isn’t super pleasant. You get so many needles and a lot of them aren’t very comfortable going in. I think I’ve only had 8 needles tops as opposed to 50. None of the needles hurt going in and your body tells her where to put the needles. So you are really the one dictating the treatment. I have found I’ve had much better relief from my symptoms due to this type of treatment. I highly recommend Susan!read more

10/24/2020I have had acupuncture multiple times and have only had two phenomenal acupuncturists, one in NYC and now Susan. Susan has a totally different approach than... Chinese acupuncture. At each appointment, you talk about how you are feeling and if you are having any problems. The first appt. is 2 hours going over your medical history and then she starts her process of accessing where your problem is and how she can help. My first appt. I went in barely being able to walk because of pain. I definitely had some relief at the end of the appt., but the dramatic change happened after the second appt. I could stop using my cane and I was able to walk about a flight of stairs with both legs. The process is very gentle and the results are mind-blowing. Susan is definitely one of a kind. I had a larger sized woman fall in the middle of my chest in an indoor soccer game several years ago. I have been to four Acupuncturist in my lifetime. Susan Buhler's form of Acupuncture is unlike any I have every experienced.
I was in an accident that caused lower... back, shoulder, wrist, knee, and ankle pain. Not to mention the emotional pain and nightmares that sometimes comes with a trauma experience.
On my first visit she took the time to get to know me and my needs. This took about two hours. (never has a health care provider took this time). My time is very valuable to me and I have to say I appreciate her thoroughness.
The first treatment I surprisingly had immediate relief! I started going about twice a week. I found my body starting to heal also my nightmares and quality of sleep improved.
