10/24/2020I have had acupuncture multiple times and have only had two phenomenal acupuncturists, one in NYC and now Susan. Susan has a totally different approach than... Chinese acupuncture. At each appointment, you talk about how you are feeling and if you are having any problems. The first appt. is 2 hours going over your medical history and then she starts her process of accessing where your problem is and how she can help. My first appt. I went in barely being able to walk because of pain. I definitely had some relief at the end of the appt., but the dramatic change happened after the second appt. I could stop using my cane and I was able to walk about a flight of stairs with both legs. The process is very gentle and the results are mind-blowing. Susan is definitely one of a kind. I had a larger sized woman fall in the middle of my chest in an indoor soccer game several years ago. I have been to four Acupuncturist in my lifetime. Susan Buhler's form of Acupuncture is unlike any I have every experienced.
I was in an accident that caused lower... back, shoulder, wrist, knee, and ankle pain. Not to mention the emotional pain and nightmares that sometimes comes with a trauma experience.
On my first visit she took the time to get to know me and my needs. This took about two hours. (never has a health care provider took this time). My time is very valuable to me and I have to say I appreciate her thoroughness.
The first treatment I surprisingly had immediate relief! I started going about twice a week. I found my body starting to heal also my nightmares and quality of sleep improved.
